Website Design & Project Management — proving a public-sector platform can be formal and modern.
The secretariat requested a website that makes uploading and reading news simple. The challenge was to design a news section that is easy for the admin to update, and clear for the public to browse.
How might we design a website that non-technical staff can easily update, while ensuring a clear and credible experience for the public?
Public users: Quick and clear access to news & publications.
Admin users: A minimal dashboard with only the essentials.
Unified typography, color, and reusable components.
By benchmarking institutional websites, we identified pain points and simplified the structure into a clear Information Architecture (IA) that reduced complexity for both users and admins.
We translated wireframes into hi-fi mockups and developed a lightweight design system. Reusable components (cards, dropdowns, etc) ensured visual consistency and faster handoff to development.
The result: a responsive, clean interface where content is easy to find and the hierarchy is clear.
The CMS was built using Filament, chosen for its lightweight structure and ease of use. Only two modules were needed: News and Publications.
